AGeNTIC, Your delegated work master in IT (Information and Technology) in BENIN

The organizers of the new technology in information and communication gathered in a constitutional assembly, on Friday 27^th November 2001, to think about the strategy that has to be implemented in order to perpetuate the acquits of many projects in IT and for a better usage in the national and international potentials. In addition, they have decided unanimously, about the creation of an economical interest grouping, with unknown basic funds: Agency for new technology and management of Information and Communication (AGeNTIC) and for the adoption of his constitutional contract.

The representative of the various bodies in the midst of this agency is stated as follows:

• . The NGO and Promoting Institutions in IT: 20 percent
• .The main State management: 30 percent
• .     Institutions for users’ rights defense: 20 percent

Our mission

AGENTIC cares for management and carrying out projects including works, supplies and consulting services in the new technologies in Information and Communication field, in account for public, private bodies and international institutions.

Her mayor goal is to reinforce the management skills of State projects, of partners in development through the mastering of delegated work, in the New Technology of Information and Communication particularly by:

• Advices and support in establishing information systems
• Support in software and project studies in IT (Information Technology)
• Support in adequate technology choices.
• Supporting evidence of sensitivity, information and plea;
• Expert testimony in the regional and international cooperation of the sector
• Support in reinforcing private actors abilities in the sector in order to promote quality allowance.

Using a performance database of the sector at the national level equally as in the Diaspora and the political document and strategies of development in IT(Information and Technologies) in Benin, Agentic should allow to:

• Promote efficient execution within the projects and IT program deadline IN BENIN
• Guarantee in making best technological choices,of projects and IT programs in Benin.
• Promote efficient use of IT in order to solve development issues
• Promote IT use in the major projects for development
• Promote IT programs and projects combining and complimentary in IT projects and programs in BENIN.
• Assure a better visibility of investments in IT countrywide.

• Efficient implementation of events in the political document and developmental strategies in IT development.
